What To Expect

Appointments

If you can make an appointment, we will make every effort to see you at that time.  Please bear in mind that in the unforeseen event of an emergency, changes in schedule times may be unavoidable.
If you have a sick pet and need to be seen that same day, please call ahead of time and a staff member will assist you with making an appointment or referring you and your pet to the closest emergency hospital.

All procedures must first undergo a pre-anesthetic exam at an earlier date.

Our surgery hours are Monday-Friday from 7 AM to 9 AM  for scheduled procedures. We also provide appointments for baths from 12 PM to 1 PM.

New Client Paperwork

If you are new to our office, there are a couple of things you can arrange ahead of time to facilitate the check-in process:

  1. If you have previous health records for your pet(s), please have them faxed (410-778-2066) or emailed (hello@highstreetvetpractice.com) in advance.
  2. Complete the paperwork found here and hand it into our receptionist upon arrival.

Methods of Payment

Payment is due at check-out for services rendered. We accept cash, debit/credit (Visa and Discover) cards, and checks.

We understand that veterinary medical expenses can often be difficult on the household budget. Because of this, we thoroughly encourage you to consider pet health insurance or apply for a Care Credit card.
